Mediant develops Smart Meters with four individual wallets (Four meters in One!).
This technology enables users to account for Active, Reactive, Apparent Energies, Power Factors, Events, Load Survey Profile, Daily Profile etc. individually for all four separate sources. These sources could be, say, Grid, Generators, Local Solar Installations etc. Such features help energy distributors, residential societies and distribution companies provide tiered tariffs for various sources. The usage can be deducted from a single wallet or individual wallets.
The Energy Meters also support up to eight Time of Day / Time of Use (ToD/ToU) Tariffs for each source. For each ToD/ToU, the energy meter supports up to eight usage slabs. So a total of 256 individual tariff values can be programmed into the meters.
The feature is available in both single-phase and three-phase energy meters.
